Hanoi: Minister of Public Security, General Luong Tam Quang hosted a reception for President of Interpol, Ahmed Nasser Al-Raisi, in Hanoi. This meeting took place on August 17, coinciding with the 80th anniversary of the People’s Public Security Forces’ Traditional Day, which is commemorated from August 19, 1945, to 2025.
According to Vietnam News Agency, the reception was part of a series of events marking the significant milestone of the People’s Public Security Forces. The meeting underscored the importance of international cooperation in law enforcement and the role of Interpol in facilitating collaboration between countries to address global security challenges.
