Mu Cang Chai: In the early morning of January 27, local people in Mu Cang Chai observed tree branches enveloped in a thick layer of ice in the northern mountainous province of Yen Bai. This phenomenon was a result of a new, strong cold spell affecting the area.

According to Vietnam News Agency, the cold spell has brought about significant changes in the region’s weather patterns, leading to the unusual sight of ice-covered branches in the forest. This occurrence has drawn attention from both locals and visitors, highlighting the impact of the cold spell on the natural environment in Mu Cang Chai.
