Ho chi minh city: Chairman of the National Assembly Tran Thanh Man, who also serves as the Chairman of the National Election Council, participated in a meeting with candidates for the 16th National Assembly and People's Councils for the 2026-2031 term. The event took place in An Nhon Tay commune, Ho Chi Minh City, on March 3.

According to Vietnam News Agency, the meeting was also attended virtually by voters from Thai My and Nhuan Duc communes, as well as personnel from the Vietnam People's Army's Division 9, which is stationed in the area. This gathering provided an opportunity for the candidates to engage with the electorate and discuss pertinent issues.
