Hanoi: National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man on November 24 received a delegation of the European-ASEAN Business Council (EU-ABC) and the European Chamber of Commerce in Vietnam (EuroCham), reaffirming Vietnam’s commitment to fostering a transparent, stable and favourable investment environment for European enterprises. The delegation, led by EU-ABC Chairman Jens Ruebbert, included more than 120 representatives from over 40 major European corporations.

According to Vietnam News Agency, the meeting highlighted Vietnam’s dedication to strengthening economic ties with European nations through supportive policies and collaboration. Chairman Man emphasized the importance of mutual cooperation and assured the delegation of Vietnam’s efforts in maintaining a conducive business climate.

The visit by the European delegation underscores the growing interest of European businesses in Vietnam as a strategic investment hub in the ASEAN region. The discussions also centered on potential collaborations in various sectors, aiming to enhance trade and investment relations between Europe and Vietnam.
