Hanoi: The Vietnam News Agency (VNA) on November 24 launched a fundraising campaign to support people in the central region in overcoming the consequences of severe flooding, responding to the call from the Presidium of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Central Committee. The launching ceremony was held in person at the VNA headquarters in Hanoi and online with the agency’s regional information centres in the central – Central Highlands and southern regions, as well as its ITAXA printing company.

According to Vietnam News Agency, the initiative aims to mobilize resources and support for communities affected by the recent floods. The campaign invites contributions from individuals and organizations nationwide to aid in the recovery and rebuilding efforts in flood-stricken areas.
