NA Chairman Urges Ho Chi Minh City to Accelerate Breakthrough Reforms


Singapore: Chairman of the National Assembly (NA) Tran Thanh Man led the Politburo and Secretariat’s Inspection Team No. 11 in a May 29 conference on a draft report on the second-phase inspection of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee’s Standing Board.



According to Vietnam News Agency, the conference focused on assessing the progress and effectiveness of the reforms initiated by the Standing Board. The report highlighted areas where the implementation could be expedited to achieve more significant results in the city’s development.



The inspection aimed to ensure that the reforms align with the overarching goals set by the national leadership. Chairman Tran Thanh Man emphasized the importance of quickening the pace of these reforms to meet the evolving needs of the city’s population and economy.



The conference underscored the necessity for Ho Chi Minh City to address challenges in the reform process and implement strategic measures that could enhance the city’s growth trajectory. The findings from the inspection will further guide the city’s Party Committee in refining their strategies for future developments.
