Hanoi: National Assembly (NA) Chairman Tran Thanh Man on February 2 requested the NA Committee on Legal and Judicial Affairs to remain worthy of being the leading strategic advisory body on constitutional and legislative affairs. He made this request while addressing a ceremony marking the 80th founding anniversary of the committee, which spans from March 4, 1944, to 2026.

According to Vietnam News Agency, Chairman Tran Thanh Man emphasized the importance of the committee's role in guiding constitutional and legislative matters. He underscored the need for the committee to uphold its position as a strategic advisor, ensuring that it continues to contribute effectively to the NA's legislative functions. The ceremony served as a reminder of the historical significance and ongoing responsibility of the committee in shaping legal and judicial frameworks.
