NA Standing Committee’s 44th Session Opens with Extensive Agenda

Hanoi: The National Assembly (NA) Standing Committee convened its 44th session in Hanoi, focusing on a comprehensive agenda aimed at preparing for the upcoming 9th session of the 15th legislature. The session will take place in two stages, from April 14-17 and April 22-28.

According to Vietnam News Agency, the NA Standing Committee will review and decide on 42 groups of issues during this session. These issues include 24 related to constitutional and legislative matters, 10 concerning socio-economic issues, the state budget, and supervision, as well as other important matters. Additionally, eight issues fall within its direct authority, while five others will be decided in writing.

The session’s extensive agenda underscores the committee’s commitment to addressing key national concerns and ensuring effective legislative preparation. The outcomes of these discussions are expected to significantly impact the upcoming legislative session.
