Arusha:National Assembly Vice President Nguyen Hong Dien proposed three key priorities for inter-parliamentary cooperation during his address at the 153rd Assembly of the Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU-153) in Tanzania on October 7.
According to Vietnam News Agency, Dien emphasized the importance of promoting public participation in governance, bridging the gap between commitments and actual results, and ensuring that science and technology benefit people.
On the sidelines of the IPU-153, Dien engaged in discussions with several prominent figures, including the Speaker of the Tanzanian National Assembly Mussa Azzan Zungu, Speaker of the Azerbaijani National Assembly Sahiba Gafarova, Polish Senator Gabriela Morawa-Stanecka, and Canadian MP Robert Oliphant.
