Hanoi: The 16th National Assembly (NA) on August 21 voted to approve the addition of three items to the agenda of its first extraordinary session. Presenting a proposal from the NA Standing Committee, Chairman of the NA Committee on Legal and Judicial Affairs Phan Chi Hieu emphasized the importance of these additions based on the Government's proposal.

According to Vietnam News Agency, the NA Standing Committee recommends adding three significant items to the agenda. These include the separation of the Ninh Thuan nuclear power project into independent projects, mechanisms and policies for sea-reclamation urban development projects to be incorporated into the draft Law on Urban Development, and a draft NA resolution on reducing personal income tax and corporate income tax for individuals and businesses.
