Hanoi: National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man met with Lao Prime Minister Sonexay Siphandone, who is on an official visit to Viet Nam and attending the 3rd ASEAN Future Forum.

According to Vietnam News Agency, the meeting highlights the continued strengthening of diplomatic ties between Viet Nam and Laos. Both leaders discussed various bilateral issues and explored new avenues for cooperation in the areas of trade, investment, and cultural exchange.

The visit by Prime Minister Siphandone underscores the importance of the relationship between the two neighboring countries, especially in the context of regional cooperation within ASEAN.
