National Assembly Inaugurates Museum, Introduces 80th-Anniversary Commemorative Stamps

Hanoi: The inauguration ceremony of the National Assembly (NA)’s museum, together with the launch of new publications and a commemorative postage stamp set marking the 80th anniversary of the Vietnamese legislature, took place in Hanoi on December 2. NA Chairman Tran Thanh Man, along with several former and incumbent leaders of the Party and legislature, attended the event.

According to Vietnam News Agency, the newly launched museum is intended to preserve and showcase the rich history and contributions of the Vietnamese National Assembly over the decades. The museum’s opening coincides with the release of the commemorative postage stamps, which highlight significant milestones and achievements of the NA since its inception.

The event featured speeches and presentations from key figures, emphasizing the importance of the NA in shaping Vietnam’s legislative landscape. Attendees were given a preview of the museum’s exhibits, which include historical documents, photographs, and artifacts that narrate the story of the legislature’s evolution and its impact on the nation’s governance.

In addition to the museum and stamps, a series of publications were also introduced, providing a comprehensive overview of the legislative body’s history and its role in Vietnam’s development. These publications are expected to serve as valuable resources for researchers and the public alike.
