National Assembly Standing Committee Begins 42nd Session with Key Legislative Debates

Hanoi: The 42nd session of the National Assembly (NA) Standing Committee began on February 5, marking a two-and-a-half-day event. NA Chairman Tran Thanh Man initiated the session with opening remarks, and he, alongside the Vice Chairpersons, will preside over the discussions.

According to Vietnam News Agency, the committee is set to debate several critical legislative items. These include the revised Law on Government Organisation and a draft NA resolution concerning the organisational structure of the Government for the 15th NA tenure. Additionally, the session will cover another draft NA resolution on the number of Government members for the 15th tenure, the revised draft Law on Local Administration Organisation, and the revised draft Law on Promulgation of Legal Documents.
