Top Leaders of Vietnam and Cuba Engage in Phone Talks

Hanoi: General Secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam (CPV) Central Committee To Lam held phone talks with First Secretary of the Communist Party of Cuba (CPC) Central Committee and President of Cuba Miguel Díaz-Canel. On behalf of the Party, State, and people of Cuba, as well as General Raul Castro Ruz, Díaz-Canel conveyed best wishes to the Party, State, and people of Vietnam. These greetings came in celebration of the 95th founding anniversary of the CPV, established on February 3, 1930, and the Lunar New Year of the Snake.

According to Vietnam News Agency, the conversation underscored the strong ties between the two nations, reflecting on their shared histories and mutual support. The leaders reiterated their commitment to further strengthening their bilateral relationship across various sectors. Discussions also involved exploring opportunities for future cooperation and collaboration.
