Hanoi:The National Assembly Standing Committee convened its seventh session, concentrating on preparations for the second sitting of the 16th legislature.

According to Vietnam News Agency, NA President Tran Thanh Man addressed the opening session, announcing that the meeting would occur in two phases. The first phase is scheduled for October 1-2, while the second phase will follow the upcoming Party Central Committee meeting.
