National Assembly Standing Committee Wraps Up Sixth Session

Hanoi:The National Assembly Standing Committee concluded its sixth session on the morning of September 30, following six days of work.

According to Vietnam News Agency, NA President Tran Thanh Man highlighted in his closing remarks that the session considered 36 items. This included a review of the first extraordinary session and further discussions on preparations for the second sitting of the legislature.

The committee adopted a resolution on the 2027 legislative programme and three additional resolutions within its jurisdiction. It also focused on 29 draft laws and resolutions to be submitted to the second meeting, with two of these having been discussed at the legislature's first extraordinary session.
