Hanoi:Practical solutions aimed at empowering women in the digital sphere were at the forefront of discussions during a national scientific seminar in Hanoi on November 6. The seminar, titled 'Solutions to promote gender equality in digital transformation in Vietnam,' focused on enhancing women's digital skills, utilizing technology across various life aspects, and ensuring equal access to development opportunities.

According to Vietnam News Agency, the event was a collaborative effort between the Vietnam Women's Union (VWU) Central Committee and the Vietnam Academy of Social Sciences (VASS). The purpose was to share research findings, practical experiences, and to propose measures that ensure women benefit equally from the ongoing digital transformation in the country.

The seminar highlighted the importance of integrating gender equality into the digital transformation process, providing women with the tools and opportunities necessary to thrive in an increasingly digital world. Participants emphasized the need for targeted strategies to bridge the digital divide and foster an inclusive environment where women can fully participate and contribute.
