Nearly 150 Artefacts Displayed at Special Exhibition Marking Reunification Anniversary

Hanoi: A special exhibition entitled “Non Song Lien Mot Dai” (Unified Vietnam) opened at the Vietnam National Museum of History in Hanoi to mark the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification (April 30, 1975-2025). The event aims to help the public, especially the young, gain a better understanding of the aspiration for peace and national reunification, as well as the close-knit bond and inseparability between the North and the South, thereby inspiring Vietnamese people’s patriotism and sense of responsibility towards the safeguarding of national independence, sovereignty, and territorial integrity as well as the realisation of development goals in the new era.

According to Vietnam News Agency, the exhibition features nearly 150 artefacts that symbolize the historical journey towards reunification. These artefacts have been carefully curated to reflect the significant milestones and events that have shaped Vietnam’s path to becoming a unified nation. The exhibition is designed to educate visitors on the historical context and significance of the reunification process, highlighting the collective efforts that contributed to this pivotal moment in the nation’s history.

The Vietnam National Museum of History has organized this exhibition as part of a broader initiative to celebrate and reflect on the achievements of the past fifty years. The exhibition serves as a reminder of the importance of unity and the enduring spirit of the Vietnamese people in overcoming challenges and striving towards common goals.
