Hanoi: Vietnamese Party, State and ministerial delegations visited the Lao Embassy in Vietnam on August 10 to pay respects to Lao National Assembly President Xaysomphone Phomvihane, who passed away on August 8.

According to Vietnam News Agency, the delegations expressed their condolences and honored the contributions of President Xaysomphone Phomvihane to the relationship between Laos and Vietnam. The visit underscored the strong ties and mutual respect between the two countries.
