Hanoi: Party General Secretary To Lam has urged heads of agencies, ministries, sectors, and localities to continue to uphold a strong sense of responsibility and high political determination, remaining resolute, persistent, and steadfast in fulfilling their duties in promoting science-technology development, innovation, and digital transformation in order to strengthen public trust across society. The Party chief made the call while chairing a meeting of the Central Steering Committee for the Development of Science, Technology, Innovation, and Digital Transformation in Hanoi on July 2 to review its performance in the first half of 2025 and set tasks for the rest of the year.
According to Vietnam News Agency, the meeting focused on assessing the committee’s achievements and challenges faced over the past six months. It highlighted the importance of technological advancements and innovative practices in driving economic growth and improving the quality of life for citizens. The committee also discussed strategies to overcome obstacles and enhance the implementation of digital transformation initiatives throughout the country.
