Party Chief Delivers Policy Speech at Lao National Academy of Politics and Public Administration

Vientiane: General Secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam (CPV) Central Committee To Lam delivered a policy speech at the Lao National Academy of Politics and Public Administration in Vientiane on December 1. General Secretary of the Lao People’s Revolutionary Party (LPRP) and President of Laos Thongloun Sisoulith and high-level officials of the two countries attended the event. This is part of activities within the Vietnamese Party chief’s two-day state visit to Laos, where he will attend a ceremony marking the 50th anniversary of the Lao National Day and co-chair a high-level meeting between the CPV and the LPRP.

According to Vietnam News Agency, the policy speech by To Lam is a significant part of his agenda during his visit to Laos. The visit underscores the strong ties between Vietnam and Laos, further cemented by the collaboration and dialogue between the CPV and the LPRP. The high-level meetings and the participation in the 50th-anniversary ceremony highlight the shared history and ongoing strategic partnership between the two nations. Both parties are expected to discuss various areas of cooperation, aiming to enhance bilateral relations and mutual interests in the region.
