Party Chief Offers Incense in Tribute to Late Vietnamese Prime Minister

Hanoi: Party General Secretary To Lam offered incense in tribute to late Prime Minister Pham Van Dong and extended Lunar New Year (Tet) greetings to his family in Hanoi on February 13. In tribute to late PM Pham Van Dong (1906 - 2000), the Party chief expressed great respect and deep gratitude for the immense contributions of the late Government leader - an outstanding disciple and close and trusted comrade of President Ho Chi Minh; a steadfast proletarian revolutionary, and a prominent leader of Vietnam's revolution in the 20th century, who made great contributions to the cause of national liberation, construction and defence.

According to Vietnam News Agency, To Lam's visit was not only a gesture of remembrance but also an acknowledgement of Pham Van Dong's legacy in shaping Vietnam's history. As one of the country's key figures, Pham Van Dong played a significant role in Vietnam's journey towards national liberation and development during the 20th century. His leadership and dedication to the revolutionary cause had left a lasting impact on the nation's progress.

The incense offering by To Lam serves as a reminder of the enduring respect and honor held by the Party for its historical leaders.
