Vietnam Story Shared Through ‘Coffee with the Ambassador’ Initiative in Austria

Vienna: Vietnam's Ambassador to Austria Vu Le Thai Hoang held a dialogue on February 12 with lecturers and international postgraduate students at the Diplomatic Academy of Vienna, where he highlighted the outcomes of the 14th National Congress of the Communist Party of Vietnam, the country's foreign policy and economic diplomacy, as well as relations between the European Union and ASEAN, and Vietnam in particular. The event also marked the launch of a new dialogue series entitled 'Coffee with the Ambassador' by the Vietnamese Embassy. The initiative is designed to advance public diplomacy efforts by proactively providing updates on Vietnam's policy, business and investment climate, and tourism potential in the new development era.

According to Vietnam News Agency, the 'Coffee with the Ambassador' initiative aims to strengthen the understanding of Vietnam's strategic priorities and economic achievements among international audiences. This interactive platform is envisioned to facilitate direct communication and exchange of views, enhancing the visibility of Vietnam's developmental strides on the global stage. By focusing on public diplomacy, the Vietnamese Embassy seeks to foster a deeper connection with the academic and diplomatic communities in Austria.

The dialogue provided an opportunity for participants to engage with Ambassador Hoang on various topics, including Vietnam's strategic partnerships and its growing role in regional and global matters.
