Pyongyang: Party General Secretary To Lam and his entourage visited Kyongsang kindergarten and a classroom named after President Ho Chi Minh on October 9 (local time), as part of their ongoing state visit to the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (DPRK). Later in the evening, General Secretary Lam and his delegation attended a music show celebrating the WPK’s 80th founding anniversary. The show celebrated the WPK’s eight-decade achievements with elaborate art and gymnastic displays honouring the nation, its founders, and current leaders. Tens of thousands of spectators used coloured placards to create vast mosaic backdrops, complemented by fireworks, music, and dance.
According to Vietnam News Agency, the visit to the Kyongsang kindergarten highlighted the educational and cultural exchanges between the two nations, with emphasis on shared historical connections, as exemplified by the classroom named after President Ho Chi Minh. The music show, attended by Party General Secretary Lam, was a significant event marking the Workers’ Party of Korea’s (WPK) founding anniversary, showcasing a rich display of performance arts designed to pay tribute to the party’s historical and political milestones.
