Dien bien: A delegation from Laos’ Oudomxay province, led by Deputy Secretary of the provincial Party Committee and Governor Vongsavanh Saynhavong, visited Dien Bien province to share experiences on the two-tier local administration model. Chairman of the Dien Bien People’s Committee Le Thanh Do warmly received the delegation, emphasizing the province’s dedication to strengthening friendship and collaboration with northern Lao provinces, especially Oudomxay, which has much in common regarding natural conditions, population, and development goals.
