Vientiane: General Secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam (CPV) Central Committee To Lam met with former General Secretaries of the Lao People’s Revolutionary Party and Presidents Choummaly Sayasone and Bounnhang Vorachit in Vientiane. The meetings were part of the Party leader’s state visit to Laos to attend Laos’ 50th National Day celebration and co-chair a high-level meeting between the CPV and the Lao People’s Revolutionary Party (LPRP).

According to Vietnam News Agency, the discussions highlighted the historical ties between Vietnam and Laos and explored ways to further strengthen bilateral relations. The visit underscores the commitment of both nations to foster cooperation and mutual understanding.
