Hanoi: Party General Secretary To Lam attended the groundbreaking ceremony for the Hanoi Medical University Elderly Health Care - Medical Complex in Hanoi, marking a significant step in the celebrations of the 14th National Party Congress. The project is situated at the Hoang Mai campus of the Hanoi Medical University Hospital.

According to Vietnam News Agency, the development is a collaborative effort involving the Hanoi Medical University Hospital, the Hanoi Housing Development and Investment Corporation (HANDICO), and NGS Equipment and Communications JSC. The complex is expected to have a total estimated investment of 16.09 trillion VND, equivalent to 612.48 million USD. The first phase of the project is planned for completion in 2028, with the entire complex slated to be finished by 2030.
