Vientiane: Politburo member and Permanent member of the Secretariat of the Communist Party of Vietnam Central Committee Tran Cam Tu and a high-ranking Vietnamese delegation arrived in Vientiane on April 9 morning, beginning an official visit to Laos. The visit is made at the invitation of Vilay Lakhamphong, Permanent member of the Secretariat of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party Central Committee.

According to Vietnam News Agency, the visit marks an important step in fostering the longstanding relationship between the two neighboring countries. The Vietnamese delegation's agenda includes discussions on strengthening bilateral cooperation in various sectors, enhancing mutual support in regional and international forums, and reinforcing the strategic partnership between Vietnam and Laos.

Tran Cam Tu's visit is expected to further consolidate the ties between the Communist Party of Vietnam and the Lao People's Revolutionary Party, reflecting the commitment of both nations to deepen their political, economic, and social collaboration. The dialogue will also focus on aligning strategies to address shared challenges and opportunities in the region.
