Vienna: Vietnam is bringing the story of its cuisine to European audiences through a cross-continental cultural journey centred on pho, the country's iconic noodle soup. Hosted by the Vietnamese Embassy in Austria in partnership with the We Love Pho Association, the Ninh Binh Culinary Culture Association, and eight renowned culinary artisans and experts, the event in Vienna forms part of the Pho and Vietnamese Culinary Culture Journey Across Europe, which spans nine destinations in six countries. According to Vietnam News Agency, this cultural initiative aims to showcase the rich flavors and cultural significance of pho, as well as other Vietnamese culinary traditions, to a European audience. The event series not only highlights the intricate preparation and unique taste of the traditional dish but also serves as a cultural bridge between Vietnam and Europe. The journey, which is designed to promote Vietnamese gastronomy, includes interactive cooking sessions, tasting events, and cultural exchange program s. These activities are intended to deepen the understanding of Vietnam's culinary arts among European food enthusiasts. Participants in the event have the opportunity to learn from experienced Vietnamese culinary artisans and experts.
