Photo Exhibition Chronicles Vietnam’s 30-Year ASEAN Journey

Hanoi: A photo exhibition celebrating Vietnam’s three-decade-long journey within the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) opened in Hanoi on February 25, as part of the 2025 ASEAN Future Forum (AFF). The event showcased a meticulously curated collection of 50 photos, offering a vivid narrative of Vietnam’s transformation from a newcomer to one of the bloc’s most dynamic and influential members.

According to Vietnam News Agency, the exhibition aims to highlight the significant milestones and achievements Vietnam has accomplished since joining ASEAN in 1995. Each photograph in the collection captures pivotal moments and events, illustrating the country’s evolving role and contributions to the regional organization.

The exhibition is part of a broader initiative by the ASEAN Future Forum to foster greater understanding and appreciation of the region’s history and Vietnam’s integral position within it. By reflecting on Vietnam’s past 30 years, the AFF hopes to inspire future collaborations and developments among ASEAN member states.

The display is open to the public and has attracted visitors including government officials, international diplomats, and local citizens, all eager to gain insights into Vietnam’s ASEAN journey.
