Hanoi: The Phu Tho Centre for Investment Promotion and Enterprise Support has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Republic of Korea's Advanced Water Technology Co., Ltd. to explore investment opportunities in the water environment and energy sectors in the northern province.

According to Vietnam News Agency, the MoU, signed on August 19, outlines plans for both parties to collaborate on surveys, develop proposals, and promote a project focused on activated carbon filter cores, water environment, and energy. A delegation from the Korean company had previously visited the proposed investment site at the Song Lo 2 Industrial Park, which is developed by Vinh Phuc Infrastructure Development JSC.
