Hanoi: Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh on February 10 called for swift actions to streamline Vietnam’s inspection system, enhancing its effectiveness and efficiency. Chairing the 11th meeting of the Government Steering Committee on the implementation of the 12th Party Central Committee’s Resolution No. 18-NQ/TW on streamlining the political system’s organisational structure for improved efficiency, PM Chinh emphasised that these efforts will help reduce overlaps and enhance the sector’s performance.
According to Vietnam News Agency, PM Chinh highlighted the necessity of optimizing the inspection sector to ensure it operates with greater precision and accountability. The Prime Minister noted that by addressing existing overlaps within the system, the inspection sector could significantly improve its output and service to the nation. This initiative is part of a broader government strategy to increase the efficiency of the entire political system.
The meeting also discussed various measures to implement the resolution, focusing on organizational restructuring and improving resource allocation within the inspection sector. Participants agreed that a streamlined approach would contribute to more effective governance and oversight, aligning with the government’s goals of reducing bureaucracy and promoting transparency.
The Prime Minister urged all related government bodies to coordinate closely, ensuring that the implementation of these measures proceeds without delay. He called for a clear timeline and set of objectives to guide the process, aiming for tangible improvements in the near future.
