Hanoi: Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh on February 1 stressed the need for flexible, proactive, and effective implementation of the Politburo's Resolution No. 79-NQ/TW on the Development of the State-owned Economic Sector, contributing to double-digit economic growth in 2026 and the years ahead while chairing the first meeting of the National Steering Committee for the Implementation of Resolution 79.

According to Vietnam News Agency, the Prime Minister emphasized the importance of the state-owned economic sector in achieving substantial economic growth targets. Resolution 79 is aimed at developing this sector to play a pivotal role in the national economy, ensuring it acts as a catalyst for sustained economic growth and stability.

During the meeting, strategies for the implementation of Resolution 79 were discussed, with a focus on adapting to changing economic conditions and ensuring robust progress towards the outlined objectives.
