PM Calls for Enhanced Efforts in Sci-Tech and Digital Transformation Development

Hanoi: Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh has reaffirmed the Government’s commitment to creating favourable conditions, accompanying stakeholders, and removing bottlenecks in institutions, infrastructure and human resources so that science and technology, innovation, digital transformation and administrative reforms truly become new growth engines. PM Chinh, who is also Head of the Government’s steering committee for the development of science, technology, innovation, digital transformation and Project 06, made the remarks while chairing a conference on December 18 to review one year of implementing the Government’s action programme for the Politburo’s Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW, five years of the overall public administration reform programme, and four years of performing Project 06.

According to Vietnam News Agency, the Prime Minister emphasized the need for a systematic approach to overcome existing challenges in the aforementioned sectors. He highlighted the importance of collaboration between government bodies and private enterprises to ensure effective implementation of policies and strategic initiatives aimed at fostering growth through technological advancements and administrative improvements.

The conference served as a platform to assess the progress made in the past year under the Government’s action programme and to chart a course for future efforts. The discussions underscored the significance of continuous reform and innovation as vital components in driving the nation’s economic and technological development.
