PM Calls for IMF’s Continued Support for Vietnam’s Sustainable Development

Hanoi: Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh received a delegation from the International Monetary Fund (IMF) led by Martin Sommer, head of the IMF's Article IV consultation mission team to Vietnam, in Hanoi on March 27.

According to Vietnam News Agency, the meeting focused on Vietnam's economic achievements and the challenges it faces. Prime Minister Chinh highlighted the need for continued support from the IMF to ensure Vietnam's sustainable development. The discussion underscored the importance of partnership between Vietnam and the IMF in fostering economic stability and growth.

The IMF delegation acknowledged Vietnam's progress in economic reforms and its efforts to achieve sustainable development. Martin Sommer emphasized the IMF's commitment to supporting Vietnam's economic policies and strategies.
