Lung cu: Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh on December 30 chaired a national conference to roll out National Assembly resolutions aimed at removing bottlenecks facing stalled projects and land-related issues identified through inspections, audits and court rulings, along with accelerating the implementation of national target programmes. The conference was held at the Government headquarters and connected online with all 34 provinces and centrally run cities.

According to Vietnam News Agency, the conference served as a critical platform for discussing the challenges that have been hindering the progress of various projects across the country. These challenges have been a significant concern, affecting not only the timely delivery of infrastructure but also the economic growth potential of the nation.

The Prime Minister emphasized the need for stronger decentralisation as a strategic measure to empower local authorities. This approach is expected to facilitate more efficient decision-making processes, thereby expediting the resolution of issues related to stalled projects. The aim is to enhance the accountability and responsiveness of local governments in managing their respective projects.

In addition to addressing stalled projects, the conference also focused on land-related issues that have been a recurrent problem. By resolving these, the government aims to unlock new opportunities for development and investment, thereby stimulating economic activities at both local and national levels.

The initiative to accelerate national target programmes was also highlighted during the conference, underscoring the government's commitment to achieving its development goals. These programmes are integral to the nation's broader economic strategy, aiming to improve infrastructure, education, and healthcare services across the country.
