Poland’s Humanitarian Gesture Toward Vietnam

Hanoi: A ceremony was held at Noi Bai International Airport in Hanoi on December 28 to receive a shipment of humanitarian aid from the government of Poland to support disaster recovery efforts in Dak Lak province. The aid consignment includes essential items such as blankets, tents, buckets, basins, and tubular elastic bandages. These supplies are expected to help local residents overcome the consequences of natural disasters and stabilize their daily lives. The aid is handed over by Charg© d'affaires of the Polish Embassy in Vietnam Miroslaw Adamczyk, Charg© d'affaires of the Delegation of the European Union to Vietnam Rafael Jose De Bustamante Tello, and received by Deputy Director General of the Department of Dyke Management and Natural Disaster Prevention and Control under the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment.

According to Vietnam News Agency, the shipment is a part of Poland's continued support for Vietnam's disaster recovery efforts. The aid aims to provide immediate relief and assist in the stabilization of communities affected by recent natural disasters in Dak Lak province. The collaboration highlights the ongoing partnership between Vietnam and Poland, as well as the support from the European Union to address humanitarian needs in the region.
