Hanoi: Prime Minister Le Minh Hung has asked ministries, sectors and localities to clearly define tasks and key solutions in each area, particularly efforts to achieve the 10% growth target for this year while chairing the Government's regular meeting for August on September 3.
According to Vietnam News Agency, the meeting focused on evaluating the socio-economic performance over the past eight months and discussing measures to boost economic growth for the remainder of the year. The Prime Minister emphasized the need for coordination among various governmental bodies to ensure the growth target is met.
During the meeting, Prime Minister Hung urged the ministries to address any challenges hindering progress and to implement effective strategies that would stimulate growth across different sectors. He highlighted the importance of innovation and improving the efficiency of public investment to achieve the desired economic outcomes.
The Prime Minister also called for an assessment of the impacts of global economic changes on the domestic market and stressed the importance of being proactive in responding to external economic pressures. The meeting concluded with directives for each ministry to report on their progress and outline their plans for the upcoming months to ensure alignment with the national growth objectives.
