Vietnam, Japan Promote Cooperation in Science, Technology, Human Resources Training

Hanoi: Vietnam regards Japan as one of its most important and long-term strategic partners and a trusted companion in the new era of development, National Assembly (NA) Vice President Nguyen Thi Thanh said while receiving Saito Hiroaki, a member of the Japanese House of Representatives and Chair of its Committee on Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology, together with lawmakers from Japan's Liberal Democratic Party and Centrist Reform Alliance, in Hanoi on September 3.

According to Vietnam News Agency, the meeting underscored the commitment of both nations to enhance cooperation in science, technology, and human resources training. The discussions focused on leveraging Japan's technological expertise and Vietnam's growing technological landscape to foster mutual development. The collaboration aims to address the evolving needs of both countries and strengthen their strategic partnership in the fields of education and technology.
