Hanoi: Prime Minister Le Minh Hung has called on the Ministry of Justice to transform into a key driver of national development. As the agency responsible for serving as the Government's 'legal gatekeeper' and providing strategic advice on lawmaking and institutional improvement, the Ministry of Justice holds significant responsibility. The Prime Minister emphasized its crucial role in ensuring that laws and institutions contribute to strategic breakthroughs for national development and facilitate double-digit economic growth, especially given the demanding workloads and tight deadlines.

According to Vietnam News Agency, Prime Minister Le Minh Hung chaired a working session with the Ministry of Justice in Hanoi to assess its performance since the start of 2026 and discuss key priorities and orientations for the future. During the session, he highlighted the necessity for the ministry to take the lead in developing a modern, competitive, and synchronized legal framework that aligns with the country's rapid development needs.
