PM Holds Phone Talks with Canadian Counterpart

Hanoi: Prime Minister Le Minh Hung held a phone talk with Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney in Hanoi on July 21 evening.

According to Vietnam News Agency, the discussion between the two leaders focused on strengthening bilateral relations and addressing mutual concerns. Both Prime Ministers emphasized the importance of collaboration in areas such as trade, investment, and climate change.

During the conversation, Prime Minister Hung expressed his desire to enhance economic cooperation, highlighting the potential for increased trade between the two nations. Prime Minister Carney reciprocated by acknowledging the strong ties between Canada and Vietnam and expressed interest in expanding partnerships in various sectors.
