Quang ninh: Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh hosted receptions in Quang Ninh province for Governor of Gunma Prefecture of Japan Yamamoto Ichita, Special Advisor to the Japan-Vietnam Parliamentary Friendship Alliance (JVPFA) Takebe Tsutomu, and a delegation of representatives of Japanese localities. This event marked the first Vietnam-Japan Local Cooperation Forum.

According to Vietnam News Agency, the forum aimed to strengthen the cooperative ties between Vietnam and Japan by facilitating discussions and exchanges between local representatives from both countries. The delegation from Japan visited Vietnam to engage in dialogues that would enhance mutual understanding and partnerships at the local level.
