PM Hosts Receptions for Australian, Canadian Ambassadors

Hanoi: Prime Minister Le Minh Hung hosted separate receptions in Hanoi on June 29 for Australian Ambassador to Vietnam Gillian Bird and Canadian Ambassador to Vietnam James Nickel.

According to Vietnam News Agency, the meetings showcased the commitment to strengthening diplomatic relations and fostering collaboration between Vietnam and these two countries. The discussions with the ambassadors focused on various areas of mutual interest, aiming to enhance bilateral cooperation.

The meeting with Australian Ambassador Gillian Bird emphasized the importance of strategic partnerships, with particular interest in trade, education, and defense. Both sides expressed optimism about the potential for increased collaboration in these sectors.

During the reception for Canadian Ambassador James Nickel, discussions centered around economic ties, environmental cooperation, and cultural exchanges.
