PM Inspects Pilot Smart Border Gate Project in Lang Son.

Lang Son: Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh visited the construction site of the pilot project for smart border checkpoints at Huu Nghi border gate in Lang Son province on November 14 evening, as part of the PM’s working visit to the northern province.

According to Vietnam News Agency, the Prime Minister’s visit to the Huu Nghi border gate highlights the government’s focus on modernizing border management and improving trade facilitation. This pilot project aims to integrate advanced technology to streamline border procedures, enhance security, and boost economic interactions between Vietnam and neighboring countries.

During the inspection, PM Chinh emphasized the importance of innovative solutions in border management to accommodate the increasing flow of goods and people. The smart border gate is expected to serve as a model for other border crossings across the country, potentially transforming Vietnam’s border management system.

The pilot project at Huu Nghi border gate is part of a broader initiative to
