LIMA: State President Luong Cuong received the Order of the Sun of Peru, Grand Cross class at a ceremony in Lima on November 13 afternoon (local time), after his talks with Peruvian President Dina Ercilia Boluarte Zegarra. The Peruvian President presided over the ceremony to award the Order of the Sun of Peru, the highest award of the State of Peru, to President Luong Cuong.

According to Vietnam News Agency, the prestigious honor was conferred upon President Cuong in recognition of his contributions to strengthening the diplomatic relations between Peru and his country. The award ceremony underscored the mutual respect and cooperation shared between the two nations, highlighting the importance of continued diplomatic dialogue.
