PM Meets Lao Counterpart

Vientiane: Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh had a meeting with Lao Prime Minister Sonexay Siphandone in Vientiane on February 5, as part of the ongoing state visit to Laos by Party General Secretary To Lam.

According to Vietnam News Agency, the meeting between the two leaders aimed to strengthen the ties between Vietnam and Laos. The discussions focused on bilateral cooperation in various sectors, including economic development, trade, and cultural exchanges. Both leaders expressed their commitment to deepening the relationship between the two countries and explored ways to enhance collaboration in the future.

The visit by Party General Secretary To Lam underscores the importance Vietnam places on its relationship with Laos. The meetings held during this visit are expected to result in several agreements that will benefit both nations.
