KUNMING: Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh had a meeting with Chinese Premier Li Qiang in Kunming city, China, on November 7 as part of his ongoing trip to attend the 8th Greater Mekong Sub-region (GMS) Summit and hold bilateral activities in the neighbouring country.
According to Vietnam News Agency, the meeting between the two leaders focused on strengthening the bilateral relationship and discussing regional cooperation. Both leaders emphasized the importance of collaboration in various sectors, including trade, infrastructure, and sustainable development, to enhance mutual benefits and address shared challenges.
The 8th Greater Mekong Sub-region Summit serves as a platform for member countries to discuss strategies for economic growth and regional development. Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh’s participation underscores Vietnam’s commitment to regional cooperation and its role in fostering diplomatic ties with neighboring countries.
During the bilateral talks, Premier Li Qiang highlighted the significance
