Hanoi: Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh has mandated the completion of the removal of temporary and dilapidated housing for individuals with meritorious services, war invalids, and the relatives of martyrs by July 27. Chairing the 6th meeting of the Central Steering Committee for Elimination of Temporary and Dilapidated Houses across the nation on July 9 in Hanoi, the Prime Minister emphasized that this move is a practical and meaningful effort to honor the sacrifices and contributions of war heroes and those who have rendered meritorious service to the nation.

According to Vietnam News Agency, PM Chinh, who also serves as the head of the committee, urged for intensified efforts to complete the program by August 31. This initiative is part of the events planned to commemorate the 80th anniversary of National Day on September 2.
