Vientiane: The 10th political consultation between the Vietnamese and Lao Ministries of Foreign Affairs was held in Vientiane, the capital of Laos, on July 8. This significant meeting was chaired by Vietnamese Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Nguyen Manh Cuong and his Lao counterpart Phongsamouth Anlavan.

According to Vietnam News Agency, during this occasion, Vietnamese Deputy Minister Nguyen Manh Cuong made courtesy visits to several key Lao officials. These included Lao Deputy Prime Minister Saleumxay Kommasith, Minister of Finance Santiphap Phomvihane, and Acting Head of the External Relations Commission of the Lao People’s Revolutionary Party (LPRP) Central Committee Bounlua Phandanouvong. These meetings were part of Nguyen Manh Cuong’s official working trip to Laos, which spanned from July 8 to 9.
