PM Orders Swift Resolution of Challenges for Renewable Energy Projects

HANOI: Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh has issued a directive to expedite the resolution of existing challenges facing renewable energy projects in Vietnam, with a target completion date of February 2025. This initiative aims to prevent resource wastage and ensure a stable electricity supply to support the country’s development. During a hybrid conference held on December 12, which focused on announcing and implementing the government’s resolution to address these bottlenecks, the Prime Minister emphasized the importance of renewable energy infrastructure in achieving Vietnam’s economic goals.

According to Vietnam News Agency, Prime Minister Chinh highlighted that resolving these obstacles is crucial for Vietnam to reach its targeted 8% economic growth rate by 2025. Furthermore, he projected the possibility of double-digit growth between 2026 and 2030, marking a new era of national advancement.
